I've begun crocheting my latest batch of items for my Etsy shop, WoolenWords.
That means wool everywhere and the need to free stashing space for the newest items... by selling the older ones, mostly.
So, starting from April 6th and ending April 19th (take care, I'll follow the Italian time zone), you'll be able to take advantage of a special 10% off on every item.
How?
That means wool everywhere and the need to free stashing space for the newest items... by selling the older ones, mostly.
So, starting from April 6th and ending April 19th (take care, I'll follow the Italian time zone), you'll be able to take advantage of a special 10% off on every item.
How?
By using the Etsy Coupon EASTEREGG2014 after buying something in my shop.
And, because Easter is coming soon, spring already has come and we want to celebrate it (and, even more, I want to be able to celebrate the fact that I'll be soon watching Captain America - The Winter Soldier), I've decided to give away a free Owly. I'll cover shipment expenses, too; so, if you want to win the Owly, the only thing you've to do is carry on reading and follow three simple steps.
Now...
1) You've to be one of my deviantART's followers.
2) You've to leave a comment to this Journal. You can leave as many comments as you want, but I'll count each one of you just once.
3) You've to wait up to April 20th, when I'll use a random sorting program online (random.org, likely, I'm still deciding) to sort one of you.
The sorting will end on April 19th!
I'll contact the winner to ask for his/her address for the shipment... so, if you don't want to send your address to me, please, don't take part to this raffle.
Consider, too, that I'll send an Owly of my choice. If you'd want a customized Owly, feel free to ask for it on my Etsy shop.
And now, good luck to everyone!

WoolenWords
A couple of weeks ago, I've opened my first very own Etsy shop, WoolenWords.
It's a novel experience, more time-consuming than I thought at first, but exciting neverthless. I've learnt how to do crocheted things that I thought quite difficult, at first; and I've found a place where I can unload the results of my crocheting bouts. From time to time, in fact, I've had during the last year small woolen explosions at home, where you could find hand-made scarves and glooves coming out from wherever, escaping from bags, baskets, closets. My friends and family have been furnished with as many crocheted items as they could bear to own.
Now, my wool
Sandstom - almond-goddes
A few months ago I was lucky enough to get an art-trade with the wonderful ~almond-goddess (https://www.deviantart.com/almond-goddess) .
She gives a very creative, very original, quite graphic touch to her works - which I love - and her favourite theme (just now, at least) is Journey. And I'm a great fan of the game. So, everyone can easily understand how happy I was and how much I wanted to do a good job with my half of the trade.
I've created for her a Journey-themed plushie and, after a few pratical problems, I've sent it to her through a normal shipment... I'm really, really, really hoping it'll end well.
Shots of the plushie will have to wait for her to receive the plushie
How to share a bit of love for...
... illustrators.
I'll do the same for photograpers and craftsmen, but let's start with illustrators.
First of all, like always, forgive me for my terrible English. I've chosen a few of my favourite deviantArtists - and, between them, I've decided to show here the ones I feel like they're not receiving enough feedback.
Positive feedback, people, let's share the love for your favourite artists.
~YumeFukurou (https://www.deviantart.com/yumefukurou)
Her drawings are lovely, delicate and gentle, with an old-fashioned feeling about them which has a slightly melanchonic undertaste.

Edit for: And she has now moved her account here: :iconyuyuun:!
